The genesis of the Arsenal Mumbai Supporters Club (AMSC) can be traced back to May 2006, when passionate Gooners in Mumbai established the Arsenal Mumbai Fan Club on the then-popular social network - Orkut. Within weeks, our humble page gained traction, drawing over 100 Mumbaikar Gooners into its fold.

Origin and Roots
The genesis of the Arsenal Mumbai Supporters Club (AMSC) can be traced back to May 2006, when passionate Gooners in Mumbai established the Arsenal Mumbai Fan Club on the then-popular social network - Orkut. Within weeks, our humble page gained traction, drawing over 100 Mumbaikar Gooners into its fold.
Footie Meets - Where Passion Meets Pitch
As the digital community flourished, the idea of physical meets was born. Our first-ever Footie Meet materialized at Juhu beach on a sunny Sunday morning, 24th December 2006. The event was a roaring success, compelling us to move to a larger venue, Shivaji Park, as our member base expanded.
Our Footie Meets not only garnered local enthusiasm but also caught the attention of "Football Focus" on ESPN, which highlighted our vibrant gatherings.
AMSC Screenings - Uniting Gooners Under One Roof
2007 marked the beginning of our Arsenal match screenings, starting with the memorable Arsenal Vs Manchester United clash on January 21st. Thierry Henry's last-minute goal, sealing the game for Arsenal, is etched in our memories. Since then, AMSC committed to bringing key Arsenal matches to our community. Our screening of the North London Derby in 2013 received a nod from Bleacher's Report, ranking it as the 6th best global spot, outside London, to experience an Arsenal game.
Earning Arsenal FC’s Official Affiliation
In our pursuit of excellence and authenticity, AMSC presented its credentials for official recognition from Arsenal FC in 2007. Our dedication bore fruit in October 2008 when we became the first official Arsenal Supporters Club in India, transitioning from AMFC to AMSC.

695th meet celebrated
Our Footie Meets remain a cornerstone of our engagement, with the 695th meet celebrated in August 2023. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, our screenings have only grown in popularity, with 18 matches screened in the 2022-2023 season alone.
